After going to see the movie, Marley and Me, I declared that I wanted a puppy. Now I said this meaning it, but also knowing (or so I thought) that this would never happen. My husband is scared of dogs. I'm not kidding. If we go to a house that has a dog, I have to walk in first to keep the dog down. He says he just doesn't like them since they seem unpredictable.
But, he told me to go ahead and look online to pick out a puppy. He teases a lot. I figured this was a joke, but I looked anyways. I decided that I liked Labradoodles. I listed all of the reasons why I choose the Labradoodle. At this point, my husband still going along with looking for a puppy, but I still think he is teasing. He keeps talking about getting a puppy. I found out that a girl's family in my class breeds labradoodles- it's meant to be- right?
My husband actually isn't kidding. He says that he wants a dog....what! I am really excited about the possiblity of getting a puppy, but it also makes me nervous. How much will my life change with a puppy? How much of an inconvinice will a puppy be? But, it would be nice to have a buddy around when I'm home alone. And it would be sooo cute!
I mean just look at them... ...they are just too cute!
What do you think? Does anyone who has dog regret getting it? Do you think a labradoodle is a good choice? Any suggestions?

I love Labradoodles! I do not have one but that is what I want whenever it is time to add another dog to the mix!
I LOVE Labradoodles--we want to get one too! Olive needs a little (um, or shall I say large!) playmate, however we decided we're going to have to wait until we get a larger house. But, Labradoodles get my stamp of approval for sure. Have you picked out any names yet??!!
I don't really know about labradoodles but I know about dogs...I love my dogs, they are my babies. They are stressful and make a mess and we have to find sitters for them whenever we go anywhere but I think its completely worth it. I've heard really good things about that breed.
I got a dog a year before we got married. She's a mutt, SPCA dog, who was about 6 months when I brought her home. BEST DECISION EVER! She is my favorite part of coming home each day. I love my husband lots, but there's nothing better after a long day then a wagging tail and lots of kisses! She is a lot of work, but it's worth every minute I spend picking up after her, cleaning up her messes, or calling friends to help us out when we're gonna be gone. Good luck on deciding!
I got my puppy when she was 4 months old from the animal shelter, and looking back I probably wasn't completely ready for her, but I have not regretted the decision one bit! She has brought so much to my life, and I wouldn't change one thing. You'll love yours!!!
O you would love a labradoodle my mother breeds them and they are just the cutest things ever. and they are great for people with allergies!
My best friend has a labradoodle and they love hime to peices...his name is Banks but I wish I could remember his whole name it's something like Sir Banks Poodel something or other, it's hilarious!
The only thing that I would have to say is that Banks is HUGE!! And he gets really excited when people come over and will jump....now I'm sure that could apply to a million different kinds of dogs and isn't true of all labradoodles but he is very hyper!
